Speedometer default , it will not indicater the correct speed sometimes it will indicate 120 mph, other times it will indicate 20-30 mph , sometimes it sticks on several mph's speeds when the vehicle is stopped. There is a known issue with gmc vehicles where the odometer quits working after 70,000 miles. There is, i believe, a recall on the 2003/2004 model year. I have a 2005 gmc pickup that has the exact same part in it as is also defective. It gives inaccurate readings or pegs at 120 or 0. This is very dangerous.
